Meet our 2023 Recruitment Chair

Dear Potential New Members,

Thank you so much for visiting the Recruitment page of Zeta Tau Alpha’s website! Here at the Gamma Rho chapter, the countdown to recruitment has certainly begun and we are so excited to meet each and every one of you. Panhellenic recruitment week is truly such an exciting time, filled with joy, sisterhood, and meaningful connections, among our chapter and others at Auburn. We are looking forward to sharing these moments with you and discovering the wonderful qualities each Potential New Member brings as we welcome them into our home!

I want to personally thank each of you for taking a great leap of faith in signing up for the recruitment process! This is the first big step in finding your home away from home and starting the next chapter of your life. Formal recruitment is long and will almost definitely be full of moments that are exhausting and emotionally trying but every second of anxiety and anticipation will be worth it when you open your bid and get to sprint home to your soon to be best friends. Although it can be overwhelming, I want each of you to always remember to stay true to yourself and everything will unfold how it is intended! From the moment I walked in the doors of Zeta Tau Alpha I felt seen, supported, loved and most importantly like I belonged. Every moment of nervousness and anticipation dissolved into pure joy when I uncovered my bid and saw “ZTA” in vibrant blue. Screaming and running as fast as I could, I went to meet the women who would immediately change my life for the better. It was simply the beginning of the most remarkable journey here at Auburn. Fast forward to today, I have received the immense honor of leading our sisters through this year’s recruitment process. This role has offered me a chance to give back to the Gamma Rho chapter, which has enriched my life in immeasurable ways. Thanks to Zeta Tau Alpha, I have found incredible lifelong friendships, an amazing big and little, my shoulder to cry on, my biggest supporters, and the people who make everyday a great day. Most important, this chapter and the relations I have made within have played a pivotal role in shaping the person I am today which grounds me to the values I hold close. Zeta Tau Alpha has truly given me so much to be thankful for, and my hope is that each and every one of you find this and more in whichever chapter you end up calling “home.” As you step into recruitment, remember to take a moment to breathe, stay true to yourself, enjoy the process and follow your heart for it will always lead you in the right direction. I eagerly await the opportunity to meet you this August and I wish you all the best on the incredible journey ahead!
